So, I finally shot the tattoo series over the weekend...I ended up shooting 6 people total. I'm going to break the posts down individually, mostly because time restraints haven't allowed me to proof or edit much of anything, and I don't have much time to blog either, so I'll be able to stretch this out :)

The first session of the day was Veronica. She's a repeat client, having starred in her own Creative Expressions shoot last year. She completed her back piece in time for this shoot, and it looks pretty INSANE in my opinion! This is one of my favorite shots from her set:

Remember a bit back I said I wanted to take photos of people with their pets for a fun little series I'm working on? Well I haven't got enough yet to create the intended final project, but I have a couple here that I want to share with you, and another one to post later :)

We're in the middle of tying up loose ends to buy our first home (!) and I'm starting grad school in a month (!) so I've let blogging kinda slide...no more!

I finally posted prints for sale today for the month of March, and I'll do my best to stick to my schedule of posting a new print every third day. This month, all proceeds go to Multiple Sclerosis research (www.nationalmssociety.org) which if you'll remember, is the same cause that is being helped by the sale of the 2010 Swimsuit with a Twist calendar, which is currently being sold at a permanent discount that does NOT affect the amount of the donation to the cause.

Below is one of the photos I've posted today, and like I said, there will be at least 5 more this month, and then of course we're on to April!

Beautiful Garbage Photography, Inc.

Yesterday I shot Susan, who is a little sister of Caroll, a designer/model that I have worked with previously VARIOUS times. Susan is putting together a portfolio because although she has experience on the runways of Honduras and all over South America, she has no American representation! Also, she is auditioning to walk in Miami Fashion Week, where her sister will have a design featured in a show.

Susan was a joy, up for all my crazy ideas (even climbing up a TALL tree and laying in a pile of flowers inhabited by BEES) and it helped that she looks like a young Tatum O'Neal that escaped from a Ralph Lauren ad...

Here's some of the photos from yesterday...we managed to shoot 4 outfits in an hour and I am SO IN LOVE with SO many of these photos!

This was the second session of the day....Carina is an actress in Florida International University's (my Alma Mater) theater department who specializes in stage make-up. I had the pleasure of photographing her last year at FIU's run of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" (one of my FAVORITES, BTW) so it was nice to get to know her a little better during our much more chilled out portrait session.

Gisselle did the make-up for Carina's session as well, and we hope Carina lands plenty of auditions with her brand new headshot!

This has been a long time coming! I've been swamped lately so blogging has fallen by the wayside...

At the end of February, I shot a couple of headshot sessions along with Gisselle Sierra doing make-up for the sessions. Erin was our first session of the day. She's an aspiring model and needed new portraits for her portfolio, so she could find a Miami agency. Gisselle must have been inspired because in an hour we shot 2 different looks on her!
Erin was an absolute sweetheart, and she's going to go far in this industry!
